SCAPE Public Art began in 1998, installing free-to-view contemporary public art in central Christchurch, engaging the community through exciting works that are celebrated around Aotearoa and the world. SCAPE’s work have revolutionised the open spaces of Ōtautahi Christchurch and public arts practise in Aotearoa New Zealand.
SCAPE Public Art came to SOMO Creative wanting a complete website overhaul, making it more visually impactful, easier to navigate, with a focus on communicating key information and of course, the art and artists behind it all. We edited and updated website copy, loaded products to the new online shop, improved SEO, and created a new modern design that made for a smooth and enjoyable user experience while putting SCAPE’s incredible variety of public art front and centre.
