Switch Espresso is an independent coffee roaster local to Ōtautahi Christchurch. Switch partners with ethical coffee growers around the world, roasting single origin coffees and signature Switch blends for retail sale and wholesale supply to cafés and hospitality around New Zealand. Switch’s three Christchurch cafés, Black Betty, Bunsen and Industrie are firm favourites of any caffeine connoisseur in the Garden City.
SOMO Creative has enjoyed a long working relationship with Switch Espresso, so creating Switch Espresso’s brand new website was a match made in heaven. Hamish and the Switch team wanted a site that brought Switch’s brand identity forward with more colour and a modern design, making a visual impact while being easy to use and encouraging customers to use the online store. We built a website around an ecommerce store, including a new coffee subscription model that lets Switch fans get regular deliveries of their favourite roasts.
